Visicom Tiles

"Visicom Tiles" is a web service for storing and delivering raster and vector cartographic data. The tile server is based on the recommendations of OSGeo Tile Map Service.. The working projection used is Web Mercator. More about projections and scales.

Access Methods

You can access map images in raster or vector format in one of the following ways:

  • Tiles — can be used in any of the popular web mapping libraries such as Leaflet, OpenLayers, etc.
  • Fragments — these are regular images or vector documents that can be displayed on websites or mobile devices without the help of mapping libraries or APIs. They appear as an embedded map but do not have interactivity or control elements.

Authorization

To access images (tiles), we track unique IP addresses per day from which requests were made with specified Referer (HTTP), or via an API key. If your site or app does not meet the free usage conditions, a watermark indicating improper use will be displayed on the images.

To obtain an API key and/or specify a list of your Referers, you need to register with us.
