1. Can I limit the display of my location to only certain people?
Yes, the device code is not accessible to anyone, and you can set the device name as complex as possible.
2. How can I use multiple devices and see them all on one map?
Simply set the same name on multiple devices, and all of them will be visible in the list.
3. How do I send my location?
With the tracker enabled, the "Send location" menu item is available - tap it and choose the necessary transmission method.
4. How can other people see my location?
You need to tell them your name or device code. You can also send a link to the location and immediately to tracking.
5. How long are my tracks stored?
Tracks are stored for no more than 72 hours. After that, they are deleted.
6. How can I export tracks?
The ability to export tracks is not yet available.
7. How can I delete tracks?
You can delete tracks by requesting a new device code. Settings - Device Code. All related information will be deleted.
8. How can I change my username?
In the tracker Settings - Device Name. However, changing the name does not delete existing tracks.
9. How can I add friends?
Friends must inform you of their device name or send a link, then you can determine their location both from the website and directly from the tracker (in the "PEOPLE" tab, add the necessary names).
10. Do I need an Internet connection on my phone?
For the system to track in real time, an Internet connection is required. However, since a fairly simple protocol is used, the traffic involved is minimal.
11. If there is no Internet - are coordinates saved?
In the absence of an Internet connection, the tracker accumulates coordinates, later, when network access appears, the data is transmitted to the server. You can also manually send points from the menu.
12. How to reduce power consumption?
Maximum power consumption occurs only in satellite positioning mode and with mobile Internet enabled. For the city, you can use positioning by WiFi networks and mobile networks, then power consumption is minimal.
